On 28 December 2018, Law 27/2018, on fiscal measures, administrative and financial management and organisation of the Generalitat, was published in the DOGV (Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana), which included a surprise that real estate agencies in the community have not been very happy about. Under the law, transfers of publicly subsidised housing are subject to the Generalitat's right of first refusal.
