Monapart University: How do you experience your home in times of lockdown?

In collaboration with the «Habitar» Research Group from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, we are carrying out a brief questionnaire that is sure to yield revealing data.

Taking advantage of the fact that your home and you, in these times of lockdown and the «new normal», are keeping each other company more than ever, in collaboration with the «Habitar» Research Group» from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya we are carrying out a brief questionnaire which is sure to yield revealing data.

The quiz has the object of knowing how you are using (or abusing!) your home these days and what changes have you made to it, if you've made any. It takes 5 minutes flat and there are no tricky or invasive questions.

The UPC «Habitar» Research Group is led by the professor of design studios Xavier Monteys, and its aim is the study of the human habitat as the environment in which current ways of life develop. The field of work ranges from the domestic sphere to the urban and rural context, with the explicit interest of studying the house and the city as if they were a single thing, as something continuous. 

Always with the spirit of encouraging ideas and providing solutions, from the perspective of architecture and urban planning, with a special interest in the entire built environment regarding the updating of its reuse and sustainable exploitation. The health crisis that began in mid-March, which has led to a total lockdown at home, provides an unmissable opportunity for study to understand how we live (or survive) under these unique conditions.
