The Parmentiers

The Parmentiers is a gastronomic project cooked by Quique López and Peppe Palo, two lovers of good food and traditional cuisine. The Parmentiers organise lunches, dinners, tastings and all kinds of culinary proposals in other people's homes by appointment.

Domestic spaces have been gaining ground over the vast range of leisure activities on offer in cities. Whether it is because of the crisis or because of the fact that nowhere like at home, e have been talking to you about different leisure proposals that claim the home as the best possible setting in which to enjoy all kinds of experiences. It was precisely at one of these events, A graceful terracewhere we discovered The Parmentiersa gastronomic project cooked by a couple of friends who love good food and traditional cuisine.

They say that the palate has a memory, and Quique López vividly remembers the splendid meal he tasted one day in a restaurant in the Gracia district. When he left Alicante to come to Barcelona to work as a graphic designer, he looked for that restaurant to repeat such a pleasurable taste experience. That was the first of many... He used to go to that restaurant so much that he ended up making friends with Peppe Palochef and owner. If true conquest begins in the stomach, it's no wonder that Quique and Peppe are now partners in The Parmentiers.

With a name with a musical air (they confess that they first thought of creating a rock band that sounded like a mixture of The Pixies and Arcade Fire), Quique and Peppe orchestrate lunches, dinners, tastings and all kinds of culinary proposals in other people's homes.

Haute cuisine in your home, in your dining room, or in the dining room of your friend, your parents, your girlfriend... By appointment and for great hosts who like to eat well.  

The mise-en-scène at The Parmentiers is exactly the same as you would find in a restaurant, but without leaving the sofa.

For any gastronomic problem that needs to be solved, "Call The Parmentiersthey tell us. Quique tells us that he would love to be hired by Spiderman and serve him the dishes in his web. Peppe, on the other hand, would love it if they were called in by Pepe ColubiI laugh with him and I know he likes to eat well," he says. Imagine a dinner with this quartet... It would be the bomb! Monapart would be there too, for sure.
