Amato Sole
Amato is her, he is a Sole, and his restoration work is praiseworthy.
This is not just our opinion, but also that of the prestigious AD magazine in this month's issue.

We arrive at their shop-workshop in the Raval, which is accessed through a bright courtyard that smells of chickpeas with chorizo, and without delay they show us and lovingly describe each and every one of the restored objects. A chair lying in the street, a lamp forgotten in a storeroom, old pharmacy bottles, mirrors full of stories (if mirrors could talk...). Everything is very well cared for and thought out down to the last detail.

Objects, furniture and lamps that fall into their hands are saved from certain death.

What's more, many of them had already died, and when they arrive at his workshop, they are pampered, reinvented and given a new life, they regain the dignity they had lost (or had it stolen?).

It's funny because it's very obvious to you that they keep their character, but you don't see their scars.

There are many kilos of creativity and many hours behind each object. As Ramón says, "rasca rasca, lija lija, polle polle", and this kindness with his furniture also translates into the price, as your pocket won't suffer. What's more, it will leave the courtyard singing at the top of its lungs O sole mío...'
