4 ways AI can improve your work as a real estate agent
As real estate agents, we often find ourselves constantly challenged to improve our skills and stay competitive in an ever-changing market. In this digital age, artificial intelligence (AI) is an alluring tool that is revolutionising the way we work.

Just as Theodore did with Samantha in the movie Herartificial intelligence is seducing me a lot. Too much. I must admit that I initially thought artificial intelligence would be a fad, something reserved only for geeks, and that it would benefit big business. But in the meantime, I have discovered its many virtues and I realise how wrong I was. I have fallen in love with it and it is changing my life!
If you haven't had the chance to meet her yet, hold on tight because she is powerful as a mermaid. And if you already know her, join me to find out more about artificial intelligence and four ways you can improve your work as a real estate agent.
What is Artificial Intelligence and what is it for?
I could explain it to you in my own words, but I'd rather she introduced herself:
"Artificial Intelligence is the creation of programs and systems that can do tasks like people, such as analyse data, automate business processes and improve the user experience. It serves to make things faster, more efficient and accurate in different fields".

AI is behind virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa. It is also behind chatbots on websites.
AI is behind domestic robots and the analysis of data and images from your smartphone.
AI is behind video games and, increasingly, the texts you read on the Internet.
AI is behind a lot of things that are not within the reach of the average real estate agent. But AI applications are within our reach. One of them, ChatGPT, is so useful it's scary. And it's free. Free. At the moment.
Four ways to use artificial intelligence in your day-to-day work as a real estate agent.
If you don't have an account yet, log in at ChatGPT and register as you would on any other website.
Research and learn
Ask him about things you need to know that you are currently Googling. He will answer you as if he were a colleague who knows -almost- everything. For example: What is the average surface area of a property in Barcelona? Where can I find data on the number of rental contracts that were signed in Madrid last year?
Create and sketch
Ask for ideas for a LinkedIn post or advertising campaign. For example: Give me 5 ideas to create a post on LinkedIn about the residential real estate market in Valencia. Give me 3 ideas to offer my services as a real estate agent in a letterbox advertising campaign.
Write
Ask him/her to write you a template email, or a clause for a contract. For example: Write me a template email to thank a client for having me sell his house. Can you write a clause for a deposit contract stating that furniture is not included in the agreement?
Revises and corrects
Ask for help in drafting your email communications. For example: Can you write a formal, error-free version of this email?
"Hi Laura, thank you for showing me your house today. I hope the information I have given you has been useful and that you can count on me to sell your house".
Correct any spelling mistakes in this text: "It has been a pleasure to write for you. If you want to receive my articles subscribe!"
In conclusion: Just as Theodore fell in love with Samantha in Herartificial intelligence is winning our hearts in the real estate world. Don't underestimate the power of this technology to transform your career. If you haven't yet explored the possibilities AI has to offer, it's time to consider how it can improve your efficiency and success as a real estate agent in a highly competitive market.
