Monapart is opening an agency in Madrid. And from Madrid, to the heavens
The Monapart real estate agency network continues to grow, and following its expansion along the Mediterranean arc, opening an agency in Madrid was both expected and desired. Because as the saying goes, from Madrid to heaven.
That María Rueda, the partner of Monapart Madrid, was born in Melilla and lives in the capital, only serves to connect her intimately with the origin of this city, founded in the mid-9th century by Muhammad I, Emir of Córdoba.
But María’s story with Monapart began with Jorge, her husband, who heard about us through a newspaper article. They wanted to sell their #viviendabonita and found Monapart to be their natural choice of estate agent. They liked our way of working and the marketing process so much – absolutely loved it – that María considered opening her own Monapart agency. Suddenly and unexpectedly, just like life’s best surprises, Monapart offered her the chance to reinvent herself, start her own business and combine all her experience with her passion for interior design, architecture and building close, trusting relationships with people.
Maria is a restless person, a fan of good taste, empathetic, enthusiastic, a fighter and a staunch defender that there is no better business than one in which everyone wins. She was a Product Manager and Sales Specialist in multinational pharmaceutical companies, lived in London, a city that transformed her, and upon her return to Barcelona, she studied two postgraduate degrees in marketing and communication, another of her passions. That partly explains why the operations centre of Monapart Madrid is in DCollab, a co-working space right in the centre of Malasaña, where gathers «a growing community of over 70 professionals and companies from different backgrounds with something in common: we love what we do and we adore beautiful things done well.»
Madrid Centro is the oldest and, we believe, most beautiful district in the city, where neighbourhoods with wonderful names like Justicia, Universidad and Sol are home to one of the world's greatest concentrations of superb art galleries, most of the city's theatres, perhaps the country's largest LGBT community and a flea market —El Rastro— that is an absolute joy.
