September 2022 - The figure of the real estate personal shopper continues to consolidate in the Spanish real estate market (PSI). In this context, the Spanish Association of Real Estate Personal Shopper (AEPSI) and the real estate company Monapart have reached a collaboration agreement for the professionalisation and expansion of the figure of the PSI throughout Spain as a quality service for Monapart customers.

Through this agreement, Monapart estate agents in three of Spain's main cities, Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia, have joined the association. The aim is to offer a personalised service focused exclusively on the buyer. In total, 12 new estate agents have joined the real estate agency, bringing the total number of members to 63. 

Montse MorenoVice-President of AEPSI, stresses that the real estate personal shopper is not a threat, but a tool for agencies. "Implementing our services allows them to differentiate themselves from the competition and offer a high added value product.". 

"It also brings them a qualified buyer who works exclusively with an ISP and who, in turn, wants to buy in a short period of time."Moreno adds.

Benefits of PSI

In the current context, the figure of the real estate personal shopper is still booming due to its extensive benefits. The main interest in having them is that they manage to reduce the 20% of the starting price of the property. Moreover, during the pandemic, these professionals were a very useful tool for international investors, as they were able to reduce the 85% of visits to properties. This factor was highly valued due to the mobility restrictions caused by COVID-19.
