Monapart, a company with 6,000 fans that is reinventing the real estate business

Charming properties and a friendly service define the estate agency Monapart. This business was born right in the middle of the real estate sector crisis, in 2010, with a commitment to reinventing traditional estate agencies.

From Plaça de Gal·la Placídia Monapart lets and sells flats whilst building emotional connections with clients, because they maintain that it is a business built on people. It is for this reason that they place great importance on social media and on creating a community around the world of the home. Every flat is tied to a story, to life experiences, and that is what this [company/business/woman - text cuts off] wants to convey estate agency, how they refer to themselves. Just and on Facebook they already have more than 6,000 followers. They are the Monaparters. A home is not just four walls. This is the philosophy of Monapart, an estate agency offering unique flats and emotional bonds with clients. This loft in Camp d'en Grassot, on Carrer del Rosselló, is a prime example.

JOSÉ LUIS ECHEVERRÍA, founding partner of Monapart: «Without partitions, beyond the bathroom, everything with industrial material finishes—iron, ceramic materials—exposing the somewhat factory-like pre-existing features. It's a property in our portfolio that is A3; it's a property that we consider to be authentic, it's mind-blowing.»

EDUARD SOLÉ, founding partner of Monapart: «For us, a special flat is one that has something that makes it different from a catalogue flat; they have wooden beams, sometimes they have Catalan vaults, sometimes they might simply have a view that makes them unique.»

Monapart was born four years ago, in the midst of the real estate sector crisis. Their bet was to distance themselves, they claim, from a harsh world that thought little of the client, where only square metres, orientation or surface area mattered. For this reason, they decided to form a community around the world of the home.

EDUARD SOLÉ, founding partner of Monapart: «You come across a lot of clichés, such as it's an ideal flat for couples, with loads of potential; we've tried to steer clear of these kinds of concepts or words to promote the story that flat has.»

Aromas, experiences and people are the protagonists of this agency, which has created a community on social media, with over 6,000 followers on Facebook alone called Monaparters.

OLGA SALA, founding partner of Monapart: «We don't like what's being done up to now, we believe it's a sector radically focused on sales, very lacking in empathy towards the client and [we need] to bear in mind that buying a home is a very important life decision.»

Communication for this project is basic; on the website you can find interviews with architects or designers, cultural recommendations or an online shop.
