16 years ago, Xavi Pum wanted to go to New York to study film, and to get the necessary money he started working as a DJ at Mas i Mas. And so, by a twist of fate, he began a solid career that has taken him through Barcelona's most emblematic venues. From Otto Zutz, where he was DJ for Los Altos for years, to Sotavento or the brand-new Valuart, Sweet Pacha or the Nuba restaurant. In addition to three-year-old Zoë, he and his partner Manuela have a one-year-old baby called Dante.

For both of them, being able to be close to their children and bring them up personally is fundamental, which is why both he and Manuela, who has an online children's clothing shop, Tamomolt, they have chosen professions that allow them to do so. Whilst in Xavi's case chance played an important role back in the day, setting up an online shop came to Manuela once she had Zoë, as Tamomolt is a sort of shop and blog that chronicles the family's experiences.

Zoë has been to Daddy's sessions more than once whenever they've been during child-friendly hours, and she enjoys the music. She knows perfectly well what she likes and what she doesn't, and carefully chooses songs on her parents' iPhone while she relaxes and plays at spinning Daddy's record.

It is the same with her mum's clothes; she has a very defined taste although she is not a little fashion victim, she rolls around in the dirt and chocolate dribbles slide off her without her caring about the clothes she is wearing. After all, she's a little girl!

Both agree on freedom as the «norm» in the upbringing of their children, and it will be they and only they who decide on their future, whether in music or not. Just in case, Xavi, who is a vinyl fan, treasures a large collection at home that will undoubtedly be a precious legacy for his children.
