Wesco
Westermann & Co. was founded in 1867 in Sauerland, Germany, as a sheet metal factory.

Much, much, much has happened since then, because in the catalogue of the Wesco There is no trace of that heavy, grey universe, but a myriad of home products full of colour, curves and joie de vivre.

A key moment in the company's long history was when a young German student, Egbert Neuhaus (now Wesco's Managing Director), went to Texas to study. He would never have imagined that instead of falling in love with a beautiful Texan galloping without a saddle, he would fall in love with a wastepaper basket. It sounds crude, but that's how it was.
He saw the typical American 50-litre pedal bin and went crazy. America is the land of endless possibilities, but it is also one of the most waste-producing countries in the world, so the bin deserved it... He took it with him to Germany and presented it to his family. Wesco got down to work. He improved the design, gave it curves and colours, and catapulted it to stardom.

This and more than twenty articles and accessories for the kitchen, which are today one of the most beautiful, casual and functional collections on the market.
