[Last week, the news channel associated with the real estate portal Idealist published an article about Monapart in which we were defined as the agency specialising in the sale and rental of cool houses. Below are some excerpts from the article. You can read the original article here.]

"Real estate for a way of life" or "your home, understood as more than just four walls and a roof" is how he defines Monapart their work, which consists of "finding homes that are out of the ordinary, those unique and special spaces that every city hides". (...) Despite the crisis, they sell, which shows that the market also has room for specialised real estate companies.
(...) Monapart is a 2.0 company, it is making itself known through social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. "Word of mouth is also working very well, as is the street work", adds José Luis Echevarría, architect and one of the founding partners along with Eduard Solé and Olga Sala.
(...) They define themselves as a "postinmobiliaria"with a global vocation because they consider it an "injustice" to be spoken of as a simple real estate agency. They broker homes whose buyer values "intangibles" because they consider that the property is not a financial asset, but a home. "We don't have any property in our portfolio where we wouldn't live", says Echevarría. In their catalogue of flats you can find everything from homes located in buildings from the Catalan modernist movement, to houses without lifts but with original woodwork. They capture "extraordinary flats, that is, flats that are out of the ordinary, authentic flats, with materials such as wood, stone or marble", says Echavarría. They have homes in all price ranges.
(...) The properties they have in their portfolio and whose owners have accepted a price adjusted to the market reality receive a serious offer in 90 days, which they can then accept or not. "We make a price strategy, a valuation and we set a starting price and we assure the client that in 90 days they will get a serious offer. Sales transactions have been closed with a drop on the valuation price of between 10% and 15%. We try to convince them to adjust the price of the flats because, according to the experts, next year flats will depreciate more and every month that passes, housing depreciates more and more," points out Echavarría.
(...) And which customer is looking for this type of property? According to monapart, the client is global, moves around the world and is between 30 and 50 years old. They are usually liberal professionals, managers or people from the world of cinema or culture. They have a medium-high income and are not looking for a luxury home, but rather an "alternative" home.
