Muji. Good design that is not noticeable.
The best design is the one you don't notice. Muji is short for Mujirushi Ryohin, i.e. quality products without a brand name. And at Monapart we couldn't be more of a fan... Here is a modest tribute to Muji, living proof that good and beautiful doesn't have to be expensive.

Waste had to be completely eliminated, good materials chosen, processes optimised and packaging simplified to produce products that were attractive, ecological and functional; beautiful in their simplicity and dignified in their lack of pretension.

"A useful towel instead of a fancy towel. Socks with appropriate angles that fit the foot. Comfortable sheets for a comfortable bed. Nice, basic bicycles. Functional, but never boring, writing instruments. Cutlery that fits the hand like a glove."

In 2010 Muji launched an internal research programme aimed at creating even better quality products. This is the Research Centre for Quality Products for Everyday Life, a space for the company's interaction with its customers aimed at developing the concept of quality in a new era.

If thirty years ago Muji started with 40 products, today it already has more than 8,000, available in more than 400 shops all over the world (in Spain there are two in Madrid and two in Barcelona, and very soon they will open another one in Valencia).

Going back to our origins and projecting into the future. To infinity and beyond.
