Pianobar

Pianobar is a project created by Don Ostra (aka Manuel Hoctin) together with Álex Oliver in which a piano and a bar literally come together. Pianobar plays gigs here and there, on demand and at private events, and is ideal for those who always listen to music glass in hand.

It all started on a drunken night out. A group of friends, drowning their sorrows in a bar, were discussing the future of their lives, asking themselves: "Should we look for a serious job?"... The truth is that now that we know them, it is impossible to imagine them in a shirt and tie working eight hours straight in an office. The important thing is to do what you like, isn't it? And what they like the most is music and good drinking. Their fate was written.

Don OstraThe man of unimaginable combinations is the father of the idea which, to tell the truth, is very simple, almost obvious: joining a piano and a bar in the same object. Not one next to the other, but one in the other, giving full meaning to the binomial. piano bar as never before.

Don Ostra (aka Manuel Hoctin) had had this idea in his head for a long time. What he couldn't imagine was that he would suddenly find an abandoned piano in a rubbish bin. It was clear, it was a sign. Without hesitation, he carried it on his back to his studio in Poblenou and, after some tinkering, turned it into an amazing contraption. The Pianobara mobile bar where swing, bossa nova, blues, jazz or rhythm & blues music is played while negronis, spritzs, margaritas and all kinds of classic cocktails are served.
