AIC17 | ENTER, the country's hottest real estate event

On Friday 3rd March, around 400 estate agents will travel to the small town on the coast of Tarragona, Calafell, to attend one of the most important events in the country: AIC17.

This is already the sixth edition of an event that, little by little and with good handwriting, has positioned itself as an essential event for all real estate agents with concerns, a desire to learn, share and improve.

#AIC17 is a must-attend event for discerning real estate professionals.

#AIC17 is a must-attend event for real estate agents who want to go beyond listening to real estate agents talking to real estate agents. It is for those agents who want to grow and advance and who know that to do so they have to open their eyes and minds and learn about what professionals in other fields are doing to achieve excellence.

Estate agents in AIC16, Calafell | Monapart

Each year there has been a central theme that has been the vehicle for this meeting. We have talked about change, about how we decide, about collective intelligence, about creativity, about passion, and this year the central theme is not one, but two: leadership and technology applied to the real estate sector.

Sergi Verge (@carbasses), is the alma mater of the project, and this year Monapart (@monapart), as a real estate agency with an innovative positioning and marketing, has been in charge of the coordination of the morning programme, dedicated precisely to this last topic: technology applied to the real estate sector and which we have christened ENTER.

And how did we get here? It all started with a meeting (yes, in Calafell) between José Luis Echeverría (@jl_echeverria), partner of Monapart, and Sergi Verge, at the end of March last year. To find out the details of how the spark between them arose, read this post. To Can Pilis.

And why is that? Because at Monapart we have been closely following the evolution of the North American real estate ecosystem for years, especially its most technological side. We think that a congress like Inman Tech Connect should also exist in our country, both to encourage and communicate the emergence of new technological sector initiatives and to promote their adoption by the real estate agents' collective when it comes to tools. For in Spain, many real estate agencies still consider that being up to date is just a matter of having a real estate web site, and the estate agent's website is not enough.

Following the conference given by Eva Collado (@evacolladoduran), strategic human capital consultant, titled The competencies of the 21st century professionalJosé Luis Echeverría will open the ENTER technology block with his lecture The future was yesterday. This will be followed by a session of short speeches of 10 minutes each, in the form of technology bits, in which the leaders of big data technologies such as In Atlas (@inatlas), new business models such as Cliventa (@cliventa), productivity-oriented technologies such as Signaturit (@signaturit) and virtual reality technologies such as Floorfy (@floorfycom), will show us how these tools can help empower the agent and adapt to the new consumer in the digital age.

Next, Olga Sala (@olgasala_) will interview Pablo Álvarez Cascos (@cascos), CTO at IdealistThey will talk about all these myriad technological applications, as well as artificial intelligence applications, blockchain and other technological disruptions that are already changing industry standards and user expectations. Finally, Iban Solé (@ibansole), an expert in digital sales, will show real estate agents how they can adopt some digital sales techniques in their day-to-day prospecting.

In the afternoon, and under the thematic umbrella of leadership, we will be able to enjoy the conferences by Sister Lucia Caram (Leadership and social transformation. Creating networks for the common good), journalists Martí Perarnau and Joaquin Luna (If I relax, the team relaxes: Pep Guardiola's leadership), Marc Castellnou (Deciding in times of uncertainty) and Nacho Dean (Around the world on foot: the conquest of a dream).

In the sixth edition of AIC17, one of the most exciting real estate events in the country, Monapart coordinates the ENTER block, dedicated to technology applied to the real estate sector. Because the future, agent, was yesterday: renew or die!
