Sabons Hnos. Sabater

Sebastián Sabater Lanzone had always been interested in perfumery, fragrances, flavouring and the distillation of natural essences. Born in Buenos Aires but brought to Palma de Mallorca from a very young age, he had to do military service in the Balearic city during the Spanish Civil War, and when it was over, he decided to open his first shop there. But those were turbulent times, the post-war period, the World War... So in 1943 he decided to take his whole family back to the Argentinean capital, with his family, full of illusions and ideas.

In 1964, his son, Sebastián Sabater Quintana, took up his father's passion and dedicated himself to the manufacture of toilet and fragrance soaps, as well as to the design of innovative perfumery machines that were soon adopted by some of the most prestigious international companies such as Unilever, Bayer, Ciba Geigy, etc. The various economic and political crises in Argentina almost put an end to the family business in 2001, but not because Eliana, Martín and Sebastián, the third generation, came to the rescue. And in what a way!
