Meritxell Ribé Studio

Imagine an interior design studio, a showroom of changing spaces and an "exposed" habitat. Now unite them under the same support and you will obtain the magic formula that gives life to the professional project of the Meritxell Ribé.

The dream of this interior designer had always wanted to be able to show a space that collected all those pieces that were difficult to find in the design market, and as a result of her experience with her clients, this desire began to take shape. The need to illustrate environments beyond the typical catalogues and plans led her, seven years ago now, to set up a home to collect different real interior design proposals. In this way, a studio was born in a house where we could feel, see and live everything that we find difficult to perceive in the design of our own home. interior design project.

Per la Meritxell, el món del interiorisme is neither elitist nor aesthetic, but a vehicle to make life more practical and more comfortable under the particular vision of each person. She listens attentively to the needs of each client to arrive at a viable, personal and appropriate result. And supported by the environment created in her own home, during her visits she tries to help her clients to make up their minds about the trio of materials, pieces and even structures.

The domòtica is perhaps the hallmark of the house. A fan of lighting, she explains that a good lighting project is vital to improve any home. Sometimes, by simply changing the light in a space, we can achieve a radically new chromatics and composition.

Studying has been an important step in her life but she confesses that it is not the definitive one. Right now she is finalising the preparations for her first photographic exhibition that will take place at the end of the month at her home. A proposal for love of art that aims to decontextualize the works of the typical galleries with the intention that the visitor can see how the works would look at home. A learning experience that is sure to leave everyone speechless.
