Monapart is not just a real estate company. It is one of those companies that pampers its clients, understands them and offers them exactly what they need. After all, they are not just clients, they are "client-friends". They come, they rent and manage homes, but amazing homes, the best in Barcelona and Palma. They love what they do and it shows, they are passionate about everything related to the real estate world and they take the utmost care in their work. They are curious, cosmopolitan and "a bit of a geek". People with sense with whom we would like to talk and share on the Regalitat's blog.

Monapart is a real estate agency, but not just any real estate agency. You only work with the most beautiful properties in Barcelona. Do you have any set criteria to select them or is it a matter of taste?
It is clearly a question of taste (not luxury). The Monapart flats don't follow a pattern; there are lofts with a very industrial and raw look, cosy flats, designer flats, the classic modernist flats of the Eixample... In the end, they are all special and unique spaces.

2. What really sets you apart is the experience, the empathy, the sense with which you advise those who are looking for a new home. In fact, you are the first real estate agency to have "client-friends". Can you explain it to us a bit?
Since its beginnings, Monapart has based its communication strategy on the intensive use of social networks and the creation of a community to share interesting content with "Monaparters", people with whom we share a common view of the domestic world and life in the city. In the end, we talk about the Monapart lifestyle, and this is what encouraged us to open the Monapart Living online shop and to be able to offer a careful selection of household objects that turn these homes into the homes we love.

As far as customerfriends / friendstumers are concerned, this is because we want the shopping experience to be a proper and highly satisfactory one, we treat our customers as well as we treat our own friends, hence the use of words. With this we want to go beyond a mere commercial transformation, and establish a more personal relationship: we want to know their opinion, that they share, that they criticize if it is the case, that they tell us what they find missing, what they like, what they don't... And of course, that they recommend us and that they come back!

3. What is the most important thing to do well?
To want to do them, no doubt about it. Steve Jobs said "The only way to do things well is to love what you do"... Behind each and every one of Monapart Living's products there is one thing in common, the passion with which they have been made.

4. How do you manage to find the perfect home for your clients? Do you think that each personality has a type of home that suits them better than others?
We don't look for homes for our clients, rather our clients come to us looking for the homes they want to own. We know our potential clients, we know how and where they want to live, and as a result we choose our portfolio of homes like someone who would guide an exhibition.

5. Here you can also make a selection. The objects you find at Monapart Living are very well cared for. What can we find there?
Monapart Living is an online shop of Supernormal Household Products, a carefully selected range of household items, decoration, gifts and design products with one thing in common, the passion with which they have been made. They are products that, whether produced by industry or by artisan workers, are "super" because they have remained unalterable and infallible for decades, or because they have reinterpreted classics that were crying out for an update. And behind each and every one of them, the story of their creation, one of pride and love for a job well done. We look for these treasures all over the world and we put them at your disposal so that you can buy them comfortably from home.

6. Who comes to Monapart? What type of customers do you have?
Monapart's customers are people who take a conscious and reflective view of the decisions they make, from the purchase or sale of their new home to the sabbatical pill they rent every morning. This may seem exaggerated, but it is not. In a world where pressure reigns, at Monapart we go against the grain and encourage the slow philosophy, to value things for what they are and not for what they are worth... Like enjoying every morning the ray of light that enters through the kitchen window while you savour your coffee in the cup you like best... Everything is part of the same because we believe that authenticity is a way of living in this world.

7. And now, do you have any other project in sight?
We have just opened the Palma de Mallorca branch and we will open more during 2013, a year in which our website will also undergo a radical change. Both Monapart and Monapart Living are extremely dynamic projects, we are very attentive to everything our users want and we focus all our work in this direction.
