Last year, following the success of the space Monapart TarragonaTogether with the workshop "dibuixa què és per tu una casa bonica", where more than 120 children attended, and the raffle of the Eames elephant drum, we had to be at the Minipop again.
The Minipop is a creative, different, modern, empathetic, participatory festival that breaks away from the established clixés of festivals.
Why are we participating in the Minipop? We won't raffle a flat, nor will we give a flat to the first person who comes to see us. What we want is to get to know the Minipop public, who are very much in line with us. Restless people, where their lifestyle starts with being at home, having a nice place to live, continuing with the education of their children, with food and going to festivals as cool as this one: creative, different, modern, empathetic, participatory, that goes beyond the established clixés when it comes to festivals, open to everyone.
The enguany's poster exceeds last year's, with Mishima, Joan Masdéu, Joan Miquel Oliver, Superpandas... and many more. Workshops for adults, such as creative tapestry or Gyotaku printing, and for children, such as learning how to make organic toothpaste, or an architecture workshop.
We are also offering you a workshop for the naughty. It will be on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and we propose to decorate with washi-tapes the head of an ocella's tail! Will it be a hummingbird...? Hum. While the children decorate the nursery, their parents can chat with us at Monapart Tarragona, ask us questions if they are thinking of selling or renting their house, and participate in the raffle of a mythical piece of children's design by architects Ray and Charles Eames, the elephant drum! Last year it triumphed, and we are sure it will do so again this year.
