Monapart at the Festa d'Arquitectes of COAC 2019
Monapart Barcelona sponsors the Festa d'Arquitectes del COAC. If you are an architect or architecture student, on 14 June you have a date with lots of surprises at the Tibidabo Amusement Park.
On Thursday 14 June, the Col-legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya, in its Barcelona District, will be organising the Architects' Festivalan unmissable event for all architects and architecture students. For the second consecutive year, the festival will be held at the Tibidabo Amusement Park and we are very excited to participate as sponsors of the carousel this year!
Monapart and architecture go hand in handfor the passion we feel for the #habitatgesbonics; for the numerous collaborations with the guild (Architects you are in luck); pels nostres Speakeasy sobre habitatge [Old new construction (BCN 2017); Uses and consumptions of the dwelling (BCN 2018; Do we live as we think? (MAD 2018)]; and because most of the people on our team are trained architects. We couldn't miss it!
The gates will open at 18.30h, and the park will be open exclusively for those attending the festival until midday. In addition to the attractions in the park, during the afternoon and evening there will be a whole series of activities: magic shows, live music, guided tours of some of the emblematic buildings in the area, as well as food truckswhere food and beverages will be available for purchase. The party has a markedly family character, where architects and students can attend with a companion and children.
One of the key moments of the festival will arrive at 20:30h, at the Plaça dels Somnis, where a collective toast will be made and we will know the name of the winner of a mythical children's tambourine. Eames ElephantThe prize draw will be drawn among all the participants in our draw. It is essential that you are a registered architect or architecture student and that you register for the #FestArquitectes (entries on the COAC website).

18.30 H: OPENING OF THE GATES OF THE PARC D'ATRACCIONS (AMUSEMENT PARK)
The attractions that will be open are: Avió, Giradabo, Talaia, Carrousel, Miramiralls, Interactibi, Embruixabruixes, Crash Cars, Diavolo, Hurakan, Express VR, Castell dels Contes, Piratta, Muntanya Russa i Hotel Krüeger.
18.30 H: GUIDED TOURS
Torre de les Aigües: Guided tour of the tower-dipole designed by the architect Josep Amargós i Samaranch in 1904. It is a beautiful modernist building, which was awarded the Barcelona City Council Architecture Prize at the time. It has one of the first electric lifts in the country and houses a "floating" dome at the top designed by Joan Torras i Guardiola. With the collaboration of the Museu Agbar.

Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor: Guided tour of the Temple Expiatori, the work of the architect Enric Sagnier i Villavecchia, begun in 1902 and completed in 1961 by his son Josep M. Sagnier i Vidal. The complex consists of a lower crypt and the upper church, combining neo-Romanesque and neo-Byzantine styles with neo-Gothic and Classicist elements. The visit includes access to the upper terraces. With the collaboration of Salesians Tibidabo.

20.30 H: WELCOMING TOAST AND RAFFLE
Come to the Plaça dels Somnis to celebrate the party with a glass of cava. In addition, among the attendees, we will raffle an Eames Elephant drum, courtesy of Monapart Barcelona. To participate in the raffle, click here here.
21.00 H: MAGIC PERFORMANCE
Magic show at the Plaça dels Somnis by May Closa, architect, psychopedagogue, teacher and magician. Co-founder of La Nit dels Genis" FestivalPresident of the GENI Association and member of the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques. She has also been a member of the Board and president of the Agrupació d'Arquitectes Experts Pericials, Forenses i Mediadors (AAEPFMC).
22.00 H: ROCK AND BLUES CONCERT
Concert by Black Bald Woman, a music group made up of architects of different ages who perform the styles of "black music": rock, funk, r&b, blues... The group, which has an electric guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, sax and voice, is made up of: Estela Angel, David Casado, Toni Vidal, Javi Vila, Elisabeth Vilà, and Xavi Vilà.
