Let's talk about birthday cakes for children's parties. There are parents who don't want to waste time and at the nearest supermarket, they buy a Frozen, Monsters, Cars... An eye-catching square cake, big enough for all the children, very appetising in its sweetness, even though it has lost its smell and is made with lots of preservatives and colourings. But who cares, there's no time and I need a cake now.
Other parents decide to take more time and first think about what would be the best cake for their child's party. And when they have decided, they make a shopping list with the ingredients: sugar, flour (better spelt flour from that organic shop in the centre), eggs (organic eggs, even if they are a few cents more expensive), butter... And then, at home, they make it. They weigh the ingredients, mix them, whip the egg whites until stiff... And at the end of the process, they bake it and watch carefully so that the dough is just right when cooked and fluffy. The result? An imperfect cake, but with an aroma of childhood like no other.
Let's draw a parallel between this story and the world of housing. There are a lot of flats, and many are very similar, with standard finishes, similar layouts, perfect at first glance, with no apparent complications or surprises. But then there are those homes like homemade cake, thought out, different, unique... Do you want to see one? Then scroll down and take a look at the photos below...
