This loft would be the ideal home for the thirty-something goldsmith, always with a three-day beard and badly groomed. I can imagine and visualise it: he opens his eyes, without moving from his bed, picks up his iPhone, which is on a stripped wooden bedside table, and consults Windguru to check the direction and intensity of the wind on Bogatell beach. It's 8 am and the Garbí is blowing at 12 knots. He puts on his swimming trunks and a white T-shirt that has been lying around since who-knows-when in a recycled suit. He gets on an old bike and in ten minutes he's setting up the windsurfing sail on the beach.
A couple of hours later he returns home - this one - full of inspiration. He opens the coppery door to the street and starts to work. Today he will create small pieces of jewellery with noble metals that will combine as well as sea and wind in the early hours of the morning.
