If Le Corbusier's Modulor had lived in Barcelona, he would most likely have looked for a flat like this one in the Eixample.
I don't know the tastes of this 20th century Vitruvian man, but I can imagine him all happy working from home or cooking, with everything designed and adjusted to suit him. Or enjoying a summer breakfast on the balcony-terrace just like any other mortal. Or driving through the streets of this neighbourhood, planned in the 19th century but equally practical today (Cerdá was a visionary: a century and a half later we still don't have flying cars).
At a time when we are being encouraged from all sides to live by choosing our own adventure, from the do it yourself and on-demand television, we are grateful that our home also adapts to our needs. Like this flat, designed for 21st century modulators.
