I write these lines from a cafeteria decorated in white, light grey and natural wood tones, with tables and stools in profile. aaltescodiscreetly asymmetrical tableware and music by José González. What is known as "Nordic style" (yes, José González is as Swedish as the Lack table). I have to admit that I like the place, although during my studies in Finland I never saw a place as Nordic as this one. Perhaps it is not necessary to dive into Scandinavian design manuals to bring the true Nordic style to the Mediterranean: it is enough to have a kitchen made by the hands of an Icelandic carpenter and a map of Reykjavik on the wall.
