It's been a hard day at work. You walk the short but winding road from the centre of Cabrera with an incredible desire to get home. And you get there. And you open the gate and, as always, there is the swimming pool, beautiful and inviting you to take a relaxing dip. And you look up, and you are greeted, as always, by the spectacular views of the sea and the Castell de Burriac. Everything envelops you and little by little the stress disappears with the goldfinches that welcome you. You feel you have arrived at your castle.
And you put on that record you love, Marvin Gaye perhaps. And you pour yourself a glass of Rioja to savour the view again, just before sitting by the fireplace to read the novel that has you hooked these days. By the time the sun has set, you're a different person, free of tension and bad feelings.
