I fix my gaze on a large photograph hanging in the living room of this rented flat in the Eixample. There is a person on his back, in a desolate landscape, with a suitcase. The hostess explains to me that she bought it as a tribute to travellers, to people who come and go... like her. And I remember the words of a philosopher: "It remains true, whatever your age, when you go out into the world it is better to hold someone's hand and continue the journey together...".
