It is possible to sleep in the living room. It is possible to hang out in the bedroom, to work, and even to eat. These spaces are designed for a purpose, but they are flexible in their use. The kitchen and bathroom are a case apart (we will not go into hypothetical exchanges of uses), and this house has been refurbished to give them the importance they deserve.
The bathroom, as an essential room in everyday life, occupies a central space accessible from any corner of the home. And the kitchen, a source of sustenance but also of pleasure, is located on a dais a few centimetres above the level of the hall, just enough to denote its authority in the manner of the old schools with a dais for the teacher.
This is what this home is: a space understood as a biological extension of the human body, a home made in the image and likeness of its inhabitants.
