Esteve Bonell was a professor of mine at university. I remember him always with white hair, a trench coat or overcoat with the collar up, sometimes teaching with Quico Rius, sometimes with Manel Brullet, who at that time still smoked cigars in class (the prehistory of the classroom). As far as I know about this building, it came about as Bonell's personal bet, by "bundling" friends and professional colleagues to promote, in the form of a cooperative, a block of flats in which several of them would later have their residence. The result is this very interesting housing block, so much of its time, with risky and spatially complex dwellings. Most people do not know what it is to live in a good home, because these, like good songs and good paintings, are not as easy to grasp as one would expect; they require an initial moment of patience and effort... So if anyone is up for it, you know where to find us.
