In the heart of Chamber\u00ed, always on the lookout for the latest trends (even at Christmas, of course!). It's the favourite time of year for the sisters Mayte and Luc\u00eda, who run the shop, and it shows. You'll find an infinite number of options in gold and in champagne ros\u00e9<\/em>In addition to the now essential red touches, with styles reminiscent of our French or Belgian neighbours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the way, they organise decoration courses throughout the year, and in December they organise a special Christmas course for children. It's clear that they love contact with people, and I think that's partly why they've been open for more than twenty years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don't be fooled by the small fa\u00e7ade: go all the way to the back. There are several rooms, although the Christmas decorations are more concentrated in the first two. Beautiful items with a Central European flair that grab you as soon as you enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the way, don't leave without a myrrh candle. Because you are curious to know what myrrh smells like and because it is made of real beeswax, like the ones made at the beginning of the 20th century, with a very intense flame and no black smoke. A legendary shop in Madrid's Salamanca neighbourhood. And rare. Everything is handmade items from Germany, Austria, northern Italy... Blown glass and hand-painted balls, Bohemian crystal nativity scenes, metal nativity scenes, fabrics, Christmas candles, the famous Faberg\u00e9 eggs... And a true reflection of how crazy the English are about Christmas, because despite the modest size of this small shop, they have a lot of details for Christmas decoration: tableware, tablecloths, napkins, socks and an infinite number of ornaments to hang on the tree or on the walls of the house. Always with that typical English touch, of course<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
