Cristian Zuzunaga<\/a><\/strong>born in Barcelona but based in London, is one of the designers who has been most talked about in recent years for his particular use of colour and the development of the concept of the \"colour\". pixel applied on fabrics<\/strong> on sofas, silk scarves and cushions. <\/h2>\n\n\n

Influenced by the architecture of cities such as Barcelona, London, New York or Shanghai, Zuzunaga has developed a particular visual world that pixelates our retina with great pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past Milan International Furniture Fair<\/strong> (14-19 April), presented Digit<\/strong><\/a>the new carpet collection<\/strong> that it has designed for Nani Marquina<\/strong>. The pixel is undoubtedly its hallmark and this collection of carpets ratifies it, as it acquires a technological, modern and digital air.<\/p>\n\n\n

Don't think for a second that the combination of colours is random. On the contrary, Zuzunaga has painstakingly worked on the combination of the twenty-six colours that make up each rug to obtain a surprising result. Depending on the light or the moment, the eye captures the random combination of some of the colours that make up the tapestry, always creating a striking optical effect.<\/p>\n\n\n

The collection, made of 100% wool from New Zealand, consists of two models, one in bright colours (Digit 1) and the other in more sober colours (Digit 2), and comes in two sizes (170 x 240 cm and 200 x 300 cm).
