So far, in order to inform yourself and locate masterpieces of the modern architecture<\/strong> you had to resort to city guides or specialised bibliography, all on paper. But Natascha Drabbe<\/a><\/strong> was committed to promoting a project that would facilitate the search for all the iconic buildings and houses of the 20th century<\/strong>some well-known and others not so well known, in a single space accessible everywhere: a virtual map. Thus was born Iconic Houses<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this map you will not only find the buildings located, but it also offers information about each one of them: descriptions about the authors and dates of construction, photographs, tips for visiting them, curiosities... A lot of useful information on your screen, wherever you are. It's really cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But don't leave yet, there's more! Iconic Houses also highlights which iconic buildings are in a state of disrepair or neglect and promotes initiatives to bring them out of this situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our \"home\" Barcelona, there are seven architectural landmarks, most of which are Gaudi<\/a><\/strong> (the Palau G\u00fcell<\/a><\/strong>, Casa Batll\u00f3<\/a><\/strong>, la Pedrera<\/a><\/strong>, the Gaud\u00ed House Museum<\/a><\/strong> y Gaud\u00ed's Capricho<\/a><\/strong>) although it does not forget authors such as Rafael Mas\u00f3<\/a><\/strong> (the Mas\u00f3 House<\/a><\/strong>) y Josep Llu\u00eds Sert <\/strong><\/a>(Bloc House<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
