As he says, wood never lies, and to find out if it's true, what better than to see for yourself. Let's get started!

1. Tell us about yourself and your work. Where did your vocation begin? Any first memories?

My vocation was born through something rather curious, and that is that it was through a punishment. It happened because, basically, I couldn't get my head above water and my parents made me decide between working or studying and I finally decided to work, opting for a more manual job. In the end they took me to a couple of industrial training modules and the memory I have of entering the carpentry workshop was of noticing the smell, the warmth... seeing all the possibilities I had... I fell in love with it, I was hooked.

2. What do you find most satisfying about your work, and any that you are particularly proud of?

What I find most satisfying about my work is that it is tangible. To see that from "nothing" you are able to create something and bring it to life and that this in turn will be prolonged and is a very visual form of expression.

To be honest, I wouldn't say I'm not particularly proud of any particular job. I try to be proud of everything I do. I am a non-conformist and I believe that everything can always be done better.

3. What is your creative process like? What are your sources of inspiration? Any particular music while working?

My creative process almost always arises from a need. Whether it is an aesthetic, functional...

My source of inspiration is you, nature, animals... all this is what inspires me the most.

Music in particular? no... music if it's good, it's always 'good'. I don't like commercial music, I don't like the extreme either. I like sensitivity, like everything... it's all a bit related. But I don't choose anything in particular. I don't have references.

4. Favourite colour, book, film and record - in that order! 😉

Colour: without a doubt, brown.

Books: don't give me books because I don't read them. Everything I know is because I have lived it.

Films: I don't care about the genre, but I don't care if they are entertaining. I think the best film is the one you write yourself. My favourite film is me.

Disc: I don't have a particular favourite.

5. Is your home a reflection of who you are? Tell us what it smells like, your favourite corner, your favourite decorative object or piece of furniture, if you treasure a collection... And if you have a pet, introduce it to us!

A little yes and a little no. At times there is chaos, then there is order, then there is chaos again... evidently it smells of warmth, of wood... and it is a welcoming place, a place you want to be in. And particular, different, special. You don't walk in and it's just another house.

Yes, I have pets. I had a dog and a cat. A month ago the dog left us and I have a kitten called Gris. She has a lot of character, she is the pure reflection of a cat. But the subject of animals in the house would give us a long debate. I think they cover a need and it's a selfish act, but yes, I like them a lot, I love them.

6. If you could buy anything right now and take it home, what would it be? Anything!

Well, just what I wanted to buy, I bought it a week ago, and it's a motorbike. I didn't take it home because I took it with me to tinker with it. In the end it's a hobby I have, I like motorbikes a lot and I spend most of my time on motorbikes and my partner. So if I were to buy something, it would always be related to the bike.

7. A great plan at home always includes...

For me, home is for resting, so a great plan at home would be to close my eyes and 'see you tomorrow'. And if there is a good plan it would be: a good shopping, cooking, dinner and bed. Just like a good breakfast.

8. Do you have a signature dish?

A good croquettes I think would be a good dish made by me.

9. What is your favourite place in your city and abroad?

I don't have any favourite places. I like Mallorca very much, and every time I go abroad I go somewhere new. I'm not much of a repeater. I think the world is too wonderful. We have so many new things that we don't have time to repeat.

Santísimo is a reflection of the passion for wood, limitless creativity and authenticity in each piece. With a philosophy that focuses on the organic and handmade, their work demonstrates that the home is more than a space: it is an extension of our personality.

Inspired by nature and everything organic that surrounds us, all their products have a personal and daring touch that does not go unnoticed.

[2844,2845
3233,2868
post-1359","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-hogar","category-mi-monapart","tag-carpinteria","tag-arte
["GET
