The Modulor's apartment
If Le Corbusier, The Modulor, had lived in Barcelona, most likely he would have sought an apartment just like this one in the Eixample.
I do not know what would a Vitruvian 20th Century man like him have fancied, but I imagine him very happy working (or cooking) from home, surrounded by personal and perfect design. Beauty all over. Maybe he would have enjoyed a Summer breakfast on the terrace too, just like any mortal. Or even running down the streets of this neighborhood, planned in the 19th but as practical as today as they were by then. Because Cerdá was a visionary too.
In times as these, when we are constantly encouraged to live our own adventure, from the "do it yourself" fever to the TV on demand, it is greatly appreciated to live in a home that suits perfectly our most intimate needs. Just as this apartment does.
