It is said that most of the time we are free to choose. We choose our spouse (unfortunately quite often this choice proves to be a wrong one, but you know, blame it on the fate ...). We choose what we eat (happens the same that with the couple), we choose how we dress (ditto), our car (ditto), our pet, our books, our home ... (ditto ditto ditto). Let's focus on the ditto and see that things are not so clear. Who chooses whom? We believe that we are the ones who decide, but we’re so naïve! We totally ignore that our stomach has already done it and without our awareness. Blame it on the emotional brain, acting at lightning speed without analyzing the consequences. I have to go over there, period. I want that sandwich in-my-mouth-right-now. I can’t live without those shoes. This dog and I were predestined. This house is my house, though I haven’t seen the kitchen yet...
